I am a Computer Science Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois at Chicago and fortunate to be jointly advised by Lev Reyzin and Anastasios Sidiropoulos
. Prior to my Ph.D. at UIC, I received my bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) and University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
My research interests span the theory and practice of machine learning, more specifically, learning metric and graph embeddings, networks, and optimization. My research, aims to influences the computational complexity of various common learning methods by proposing computationally efficient approximation algorithms or attaining bounds for the hardness of approximation.
